I was able to install it, but it did not install the system tray app I was looking for, nor did it create any additional settings. So I tried an earlier Synaptics driver from 2013 which did have an Extract Only option. I gathered from my reading that earlier versions of Windows 10 did offer the "Turn off TouchPad While Typing" or its equivalent, as several articles I cam across direct users to that setting under Mouse and Trackpad in Settings, but that later versions have apparently eliminated that setting in favor of the Trackpad Sensitivity setting.
