On the left flap is a short excerpt of the novel, and on the other side is the photo of William C. When you open the book, you can see the flaps of the dustjacket wrapped around the Hardcover. The dustjacket was designed by Alan Dingman. Those wondering, the artwork on the dustjacket was drawn by Glenn Rane. The one thing I love about that is that it gives you the option to frame the dustjacket as your own piece of art - pretty good for those who wish to collect them, and hang the frames on the Office or bedroom’s wall. All the latest Warcraft hardcovers from Gallery Books (a division of Simon & Schuster) and even DC Comics’ Starcraft Hardcover come with a dustjacket design. The book comes with a detachable dustjacket which contains the front cover’s artwork. You can see the visor matches that of the Jim Raynor Noobz given away at last BlizzCon 2009’s swag bag. The artwork in the front cover shows Jim Raynor on his Marine suit.

This is the first StarCraft novel published as a Hardcover. Dietz will be on sale Apbut I got an early copy some time ago to show you a preview.
